About Miss Allen County Queen Scholarship Pagent.

The Miss Allen County Queen Scholarship Pageant is an official preliminary for the Miss Indiana State Fair Queen Pageant. The pageant is open to all young ladies the age of 16-21 (cannot turn 21 before August 19th, 2011) that live in Allen County. It is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn interviewing and public speaking skills, and above all have a wonderful time.

There are four areas of competition: interview, professional wear, evening wear, and on-stage question. Each of which represent various percentages of the final score. Please visit Contestant's Corner to view more specific information about each area of competition.

Each Miss Allen County is asked to reign over the Allen County Fair. At the fair, Queens participate and make appearances at events such as Kid's Day, the demo derby, 4-H shows, Talent Show, and many more. In addition to the Fair, Miss Allen County makes appearances throughout the year at charity events and fundraisers.
